Basic Operations of Printer Control Panel
It is necessary to set the printer in the offline mode in order to set up the various
parameters.
Press the <Menu> key to switch to the offline mode and display the menu screen.

Menu Hierarchy

The operation menus have the following menu hierarchy.
•
Top menu items (level 1)
This is the menu that is displayed first.
•
Submenu items (level 2 and below)
The various menus that are positioned beneath the level 1 menu. The depth of the
hierarchy will differ in accordance with the items contained in the submenus.
•
Specified values
The various parameter values located beneath the submenus.
Key Operations
The following keys are used on the menu screen.
<Menu> key

Switches to the offline mode and displays the menu screen.
Returns to the online mode if this key is pressed when the
menu screen is displayed.
Displays the previous menu item or specified value on the
same level.
Displays the next menu item or specified value on the same
level.
Displays the menu item on the lower level.
Displays the menu item on the higher level.
Sets the specified value.
An [*] mark will be displayed on the right-hand side of the
value once it has been set.
