Power Save Mode

This function automatically lowers the power consumption of the machine and enters the
power save mode when no operations are made for a predetermined period of time.
•
Low power mode 1
This mode automatically reduces the temperature of the fuser and restricts power
consumption.
The parameters that are set up are [ON], [OFF] and the amount of time to elapse
before the mode is activated (between 1 and 120 minutes; the default setting is [5
minutes].)

Low power mode 2
This mode reduces the temperature of the fuser lower than Low Power Mode 1.
The parameters that are set up are [ON], [OFF] and the amount of time to elapse
before the mode is activated (between 5 and 120 minutes; the default setting is [15
minutes].)

Sleep Mode
The sleep mode automatically switches off the power to the printer.
The parameters that are set up are [ON], [OFF] and the amount of time to elapse
before the mode is activated (between 15 and 120 minutes; the default setting is
[90 minutes].)
Power is restored from the power save modes to normal power levels when a print job is
transmitted, or when the <Power Saver> key on the printer control panel is pressed.

SYSTEM PARAMETER
The power save modes can also be set up from the copier control panel with Xerox
6030 Wide Format and Xerox 6050 Wide Format. The most recently set parameters
are used when these modes have been set up on both the printer and the copier control
panels.
