Patient stations
Single and dual stations allow for one Smart Pillow Speaker per bed,
as well as a choice of a nurse call cords per bed or a medical
equipment connection (either one can be preconfigured or the
choice can be made at the point of use). Lights on patient stations
provide feedback to staff members. Single and Dual patient stations
also come with either BedConnect (front bed connectors) or rear
(internal) bed connectors.

of single and dual patient stations with BedConnect.
Note: Dual patient stations provide two 1/4-inch jacks, for
connecting call cords or critical medical equipment such as
ventilators, defibrillators, or IV pumps, to the nurse call system. This
equipment must be listed/certified per UL 544 Medical and dental
equipment or UL0601-1 Medical electrical equipment.
WARNING: Medical equipment connected to the patient station is
not considered to be part of the system configuration unless the
equipment in question complies with UL1069 Hospital signaling and
nurse call equipment.
Caution: Connect the patient station to class 2 circuits only. Make
periodic leakage current measurements of all pendant
control/pillow speaker circuits to verify that values are appropriate
for the installation location.
