Chapter 3
Using staff consoles and annunciators
Canceling normal priority calls from telephones or wireless
devices
34
By default the Telligence system cancels normal priority calls only
upon audio connection from a Telligence device. If a regular or
wireless phone is used to call a room or bed, an audio connection
will be established, but no calls affected by the connection. If you
want to allow regular or wireless phones to affect calls, it can be
enabled using the Telligence Configuration Tool. Doing so, however,
will void the UL listing.

Caution:
The Telligence System's UL Listing may be voided if normal
priority calls are canceled when staff members answer them using
telephones. Normal priority calls should be canceled only at staff
consoles or annunciators, or at the patient room.
