Definition
An analog station that supports audio (Analog Patient Station, Analog Staff
Station).
Similar to a Staff Console, except wall mounted.
Device that provides an interface to a Hill-Rom or Stryker Bed Station.
Bed Interface Device
Dome light. Also called a room light, corridor light, or zone light.
Internet protocol. A communication protocol developed by the IETF (Internet
Engineering Task Force) that enables information to be routed from one
network to another in packets and then reassembled when they reach their
destination.
A device used by a patient to signal or communicate with healthcare staff.
Peripheral device. An RVPD, SVPD, or legacy fire alarm Signature device that
does not support audio.
A peripheral station for manually registering and clearing staff presence in
a room
Dukane Pillow Speaker with 18-pin connector equipped with lighting, TV
control and Nurse Call buttons.
Staff console
A device used by healthcare staff to communicate with both healthcare
staff and patients. It is the primary device that annunciates and answers
calls from Staff/Patient Stations and signals alerts from healthcare
equipment and devices within the facility connected to the Telligence
Patient-Staff Communication System. This device sends and receives both
data and voice over an IP network.
A device used by healthcare staff to signal or communicate with other
healthcare staff. In Duty mode, it annunciates calls within the designated
duty area(s).
