A margin required by the printer is added with respect to the size of paper loaded in the printer. Except in borderless
printing, the actual printing area corresponds to the paper size minus the space for this margin.

Printing from the Top Paper Feed Slot requires a margin of 3 mm (0.12 in) on top, 3 mm (0.12 in) or 23 mm (0.91
in) on bottom, and 3 mm (0.12 in) on the left and right sides. Some types of paper require a bottom margin of 23
mm (0.91 in). For more information, see the Paper Reference Guide. (See "Types of Paper.")
