Reloading the Staple Cartridge

Finisher 9747

Holding the Grip, slide the Finisher away
from the machine.

Open Misfeed Clearing Guide [FN7] at the
right side of the Finisher.

Turn the dial to the left to move the Staple
Units toward the center.
The message shown on the left appears when the
staples are running low.
Reload the Staple Cartridge with a new clip by
following the procedure given below.

Pull the Staple Cartridge out to the front.

Two Staple Cartridges are mounted in Finisher
9747. Be sure to remove the specific Staple
Cartridge that is indicated in the message on the
Touch Panel.

Press the portion marked with Push of the
Staple Cartridge to pop up the upper part of
the cartridge and remove the empty clip.
