This item confirms the individual password for ALE
operation. (see p.19)
Preamplifier
This item sets the receiver preamplifier function ON
or OFF.
Turn this item ON when receiving weak signal.
Minimum audio level
This item sets the minimum audio level.
Turn this item ON when receiving weak signal.
Offset time
Set the offset time between the UTC and local time
within –12:00 to +12:00 in 5 minutes steps.

■ CPU reset

If you want to initialize the operating conditions (Quick
set mode setting, Initial set mode setting, VFO fre-
quency, selected channel) without channel contents
or ID contents.
q Turn the transceiver power OFF, if the transceiver
is powered ON.
w While pushing and holding both [ ∫ ∫ ] and [ √ √ ], push
[I/O] to reset the CPU.
