    [Red], [ ] and [ ] programmable functon keys. Consult your Icom dealer or system operator for detals concern- ng your transcevers programmng. If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the followng explanatons, the specfic key s used to actvate the functon de- pends on programmng.

Scan resumes after a specfied tme perod has passed when scan s cancelled except for ths key. ➥ Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan group, then select the desred scan group usng [CH Up]/[CH Down].

    BASIC OPERATION ■ Call procedure When your system employs tone sgnallng (excludng CTCSS and DTCS), ths call procedure may be necessary pror to voce trans- msson. The tone sgnallng employed may be a selectve callng system whch allows you to call specfic staton(s) only and prevent unwanted statons from contactng you.

    BASIC OPERATION ■ Recording function (Depends on the verson) The transcever has a recordng functon that records the TX/RX voce messages. When the specfied ID s receved, the automatc recordng functon actvates and records the voce message for a specfied tme perod. Or, f the transcever has [Playback/Rec] assgned to t, manual recordng s also avalable.

Usng thrd-party or counterfet battery packs or charger may cause smoke, fire, or cause the battery to burst.
