Selecting an Interface

Once the printer is set up, you need to select an interface to connect
the printer to the host. Your Accel-a-Writer 812 has three standard
interface ports on the back—LocalTalk, serial, and parallel. There is
a SCSI port where you can attach multiple external hard disks, and
an optional Ethernet port.

The serial, parallel, LocalTalk, and EtherTalk ports are
simultaneously active, which allows you to access the printer
through multiple ports at the same time. The printer prints the first
incoming job. When the first job finishes, the next job (in the order
received) prints, and so forth until all jobs print.
