2. Remove the toner cartridge from its package and gently rock it
back and forth to distribute the toner evenly throughout the
cartridge (fig. 2.9).
3. Place the cartridge on a flat surface and gently flex the black
tab on the end of the sealing tape back and forth until it
becomes loose. Then, pull the tab and tape straight out from
the toner cartridge and discard it (fig. 2.10).
