Description
This command is used to configure the SNMP system name of the switch.
Format
config snmp system_name <sw_name>
Parameters
<sw_name> - Specify an SNMP system name for the switch. A maximum of 255 characters is
allowed.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure the switch SNMP name for "DGS-3620-28SC Gigabit Ethernet Switch":
DGS-3620-28SC:admin# config snmp system_name DGS-3620-28SC Gigabit Ethernet
Switch
