Description
Specify the sidefile flow restriction
(required for TCA).
Y: Restricts the flow of host
update I/O on the S-VOL
depending on the usage amount
of the sidefiles. Deterioration of
the host's I/O performance is
proportional to the usage
amount of the sidefiles.
N: Do not restrict the flow of host
update I/O on the S-VOL. This
prevents host I/O performance
deterioration on crucial volumes.
If the usage amount exceeds the
criteria, the copy pair status
becomes SUSPCU
NOTE: If the C/T Group option
Inflow Control is not enabled in the
following models, FLOW CTL will be
disregarded even if set to Y:
XP12000/XP10000 Disk Array
