Chapter1: User Error Codes
#003 [ TX/RX ] Document is too long, or page time-over
Cause
• The length of a single page is too long.
• The data of a single page is too large, ex-
ceeding the time allowed for transmission.
• The data of a single page is too large, ex-
ceeding the time allowed for reception.
• An internal mechanism is faulty.
Remedy
• Using a copying machine, make copies of
the document, and transmit the copies sepa-
rately.
• Use a copying machine.
• Decrease the reading resolution when
transmitting.
• If the document is too long and the data is
too large, make copies using a copying ma-
chine, and transmit the copies separately.
• If halftone transmission is used, the docu-
ment is of a default size, and the data is too
large, increase the setting of the page

• Ask the operator of the other party to de-
crease the reading resolution and transmit.
• Ask the operator of the other party to di-
vide the document and transmit.
• Increase the setting of the page timer
• Ask the operator of the other party to find
out the cause.
• Correct it by referring to the Service
Manual of the model in question.
