The scanner fails to move forward/in reverse.

Checks
Is the cable for the scanner routed
properly?
Is the scanner rail free of dirt, and
does the scanner move smoothly
when pushed by hand?
Set the meter to the 100VDC
range, and connect its probes to
J634-1 (+) and J634-5 (-) on the
DC power supply PCB. Is the
reader of the meter about 24 V?
Turn off the power switch, and
disconnect J205 from the motor
driver 1 PCB.
Set the meter to the x10
and measure the resistance
between the following terminals on
the connector side of the motor. Is
it normal?
J205-1
J205-2
J205-3
J205-4
J205-1
J205-5
J205-2
J205-5
J205-3
J205-6
J205-4
J205-6
Replace the motor drive 1 PCB. Is
the problem corrected?

contact with the scanner.

Replace the scanner
