Does the option counter operate
normally?
Checks
Does the horizontal registration
motor (M5) rotate until 'E051'
turns on?
Is the horizontal registration roller
home position sensor normal?
(See the instructions on how to
check photointerrupters.)
Turn off the power switch, and dis-
connect the relay connector J85.
Set the meter to the 1k
and measure the registance
between the terminals of the
motor shown below. Is it normal?
J85-2 J85-5
J85-3 J85-6
J85-1 J85-2
J85-1 J85-5
J85-4 J85-3
J85-4 J85-6
Replace the motor driver 1 PCB.
Is the problem corrected?
