moving? Is the cable too slack or

Is there foreign matter on the

scanner rail?

Is any of the teeth of the gear in

the scanner drive assembly

Is the problem noted at intervals

of about 9.4 cm?

Is the problem noted at intervals

of about 3.3 cm?

1. Re-route the cable.

2. If the cable is twisted

or frayed, replace it.

Clean the surface of the

scanner rail.

Replace the gear.

roll) for scratches

and protrusions).
