Place the switch on a flat, stable surface.

Align the side-rail brackets along the side panels of the switch chassis. Align the two

holes in the rear of the side-rail brackets with the two holes on the rear of the side
panel.
Insert 4x6-mm Phillips flat-head mounting screws into the two aligned holes and

tighten the screws. Ensure that the remaining four holes in the side-rail brackets are
aligned with the four holes in the side panel. See Figure 34 on page 98.

Insert the 4x6-mm Phillips flat-head mounting screws into the remaining four holes

Have one person grasp both sides of the switch, lift the switch, and position it as

follows in the rack. See Figure 35 on page 99.
If you installed cage nuts, position the switch so that the bottom hole in each
mounting bracket is aligned with the bottom cage nut in each post.
If your rack has threaded holes, position the switch so that the side-rail bracket
holes are aligned with the holes in each front post. Align the bottom hole in each
mounting bracket with a hole in each rack post, making sure the chassis is level.
