RMC
Tandberg Data M-Series Remote Management Card User's Guide
To utilize updated configuration information, the RMC and library
must be rebooted. To reboot the RMC and library:
Access the

Utilities
Under

Shutdown Remote Management Card,
press
. The RMC system reboots itself, including restarting
OK
and initializing the library. In a multiple frame environment,
all libraries will be restarted and initialized.
Rebooting the RMC and library may take up to 15
Note:
minutes during which time the library is unavailable.
Before rebooting the RMC and library, be certain
there are no active or pending jobs being processed
by the library. It should not be necessary to reboot the
RMC and library during normal operation.
Shutting down a M1500/M2500 library while the RMC is in
operation may cause the RMC image and/or configuration file to
be corrupted. To prevent this from happening, follow this
procedure whenever you must shutdown a library with a RMC
installed.
