Tandberg Data M-Series Remote Management Card User's Guide
This manual is intended for use by customers who have purchased
a Tandberg M-Series library. This manual assumes the reader has a
moderate level of general computer knowledge and server systems
administration experience. This experience includes the
installation of expansion cards as well as the administration of
Windows operating systems, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networks.
This document provides information about the M-Series Remote
Management Card (RMC) options available including:
• RMC Server Management
• ALERT E-mail
• ALERT SNMP
• ALERT Library Management
For this manual, a single frame M2500 configuration is used for
illustration. The Management Console screens, showing libraries,
status, or statistics for your configuration, may vary from those
shown in this manual.
