SDLT/LTO Drive Cabling with a 2-GB SAN If the M2500 library with SDLT or LTO drives is connected to a 2-GB SAN, Tandberg Data recommends a maximum ratio of 2 tape drives per FC420 SCSI port. This means that one FC420 Fibre bridge could manage up to four tape drives, but a second FC420 Fibre bridge would be required for libraries with five or six tape drives.
