System Management Menu

The menu bar is shown below.
Maintenance
Table 71 shows the System Management menu. This menu sets server management features.

Intel ® SRMK2 Internet Server Technical Product Specification
Allows the BIOS to skip certain tests while booting. This
decreases the time needed to boot the system.
Determines the mode of operation if a power loss occurs.
"Stays Off" keeps system off once power is restored.
"Power On" boots the system after power is restored. "Last
State" restores the system to the same state it was in before
the power failed.
APM Mode only: Determines the action of the system when
the system power is off and the modem is ringing.
APM Mode only: Determines the action of the system when a
LAN wake up event occurs.
APM Mode only: Determines the action of the system when a
PCI Power Management Enabled wake up event occurs.
Configures the peripheral devices. Configurable options for
other IDE devices are similar to Primary Master IDE. Note that
the Primary Master/Slave IDE port is not available on the
baseboard.
Configures the boot sequence from the available devices.
IDE-HDD = Hard disk drive.
ARMD-FDD = ATAPI removable device-floppy disk drive.
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 = Network boot using PXE.

Channel A of the Onboard Adaptec SCSI 7899
SCSI = If a SCSI device is installed, it will appear as one of the
possible boot devices with the name of device.
