Chapter 1 Scanner Overview
1.3 Turning the Power ON/OFF
This section explains how to power on/off the scanner.
The method by which the scanner is powered on/off can be
specified from one of the following:
Press the [Power] button on the operator panel
Unplug the power cable then plug it back in
Have the scanner turn on/off in sync with the computer's
power

How to Turn the Power ON

When connected via SCSI, turn on the scanner and confirm
that "1" is displayed on the Function Number Display before
you turn on the computer.

The scanner is turned on, and the [Power] button lights in green.
During initialization, the Function Number Display changes in the
following order: "8" "P"

How to Turn the Power OFF
