SCAN OPERATION
■ Entering scan edges
1. Entering a scan name
1. Push [MENU
• Enters the MENU mode.
2. Rotate [DIAL]S to select "P-EDGE" (Program Scan
Edge).
(MENU-EXMENU > EXMEN-SCAN > SCAN-P-EDGE)
3. Push [ï]D.
• Goes to the next tree level.
4. Rotate [DIAL]S to select a desired scan edge channel.
(Example: P03)
5. Push [ï]D.
• Goes to the next tree level.
• Push [◄]D to go back to the previous tree level.
6. Rotate [DIAL]S to select "NAME."
7. Push [ï]D to display the Scan name entry screen.
8. Rotate [DIAL]S to select a desired character or
symbol. (Example: SCAN03)

• Push [CLR]D to delete the selected character or symbol.
• When no character or symbol is selected, push [►](D) to
enter a space.
9. Push [◄] to move the cursor backwards, or push [►] to
move the cursor forwards.
10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 to enter a name of up to 6
characters, including spaces.
11. After entering, push [ï]D.
2. Entering program scan edges
NOTE: You must enter different frequencies in "FREQ L" and
"FREQ H," to specify a scanning frequency range. If identical
frequencies are entered, the Program scan will not work.
12. Rotate [DIAL]S to select "FREQ L."
13. Push [ï]D to display the Lower edge frequency setting
screen.
