SETFF Command

Purpose: You use the SETFF command to align top of media to print head. Once

This section explains how the Form Feed and Backspace ASCII characters
are treated.
ASCII Character (0x0c) advances the paper to either the next index mark
or the length specified by the Page-Height, SETFF, or SET-TOF
command. (The index mark is either a black line on the back of the stock
or the gap between labels. For help, see "Gap Sense and Bar Sense
Commands" in Chapter 14.)
ASCII Character (0x08) acts as a non-destructive backspace. The character
after the backspace character appears on top of the previous character.
this command is executed, the alignment occurs when:
• You press the Feed button.
• The form-feed character (0x0c) is issued.
• The Form command is issued.

<PRINT>
where:
{command}: SETFF
{max-feed}:
Maximum unit-length the printer advances searching for the
next eye-sense mark to align top of form. Range is 0 to 20.
{skip-length}: Unit-length printer advances past top of form. Range is 5 to
50.
eye-sense mark is found or the paper has been advanced a maximum of
25 mm or 1 inch. If an eye-sense mark is found, the paper is advanced an
additional 2.5 mm or 0.1 inch.
