    Chapter 1 — Using the PW50 Workboard Printer Understanding the Control Panel The PW50 control panel contains two buttons and four LED indicators. Use the two buttons to perform functions on the PW50 printer. See the following tables to understand the buttons and LED indicators.

The Bluetooth radio turns off when you connect a serial cable. Steady green The Bluetooth radio is on and the printer is not connected to a serial cable.

    The PW50 uses a rechargeable 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery (Model AB13) for power. You must fully charge the battery before you can use the PW50. A fully charged battery can last up to one week without needing to be recharged when the printer is in Standby mode.

The printer performs a test feed (sensor calibration), prints a series of test labels, and then enters Dump mode.
