Printing Problems
Symptom
Cannot print.
Cause: Printer power is not turned on.
Cannot print.
Cause: Cable or connectors are not
connected properly.
Cannot print.
Cause: Printer is not on line mode.
Cannot print.
Cause: The printer specified in the
application you are printing
from is different from the printer
you are using.
Still cannot print, even after taking the
actions described above.
Cannot print.
Cause: The printer driver required by
the printer you are using is not
installed.
Recommended Action
Press Shift +
keyboard between upper case and lower
case characters.
Turn FIVA power off and then back on
again.
Press Ctrl +
Press the RESET switch.

Recommended Action
Turn off FIVA power. Next, turn on the
printer and then turn on FIVA.
Make sure that all connections are
secure and correct. Also make sure that
you are using the specified printer cable.
Put the printer on line mode.
Open the Printers window from Control
Panel and select the correct printer.
Shut down Windows Me and then restart.
Install the proper printer driver. You must
install the proper printer driver before you
can use the printer for the first time.
