Setting the Partition of Hard Disk/Initializing the Hard Disk

Starting up from the "Product Recovery CD-ROM" automatically starts
the system restoration routine. Follow the instructions that appear on
the screen.
1. Specify hard disk space which should be allocated for Hibernation
Mode data.
Start up from the "Product Recovery CD-ROM," and the screen shown
below appears after an initial process is performed. Type Shift +
(upper case
) to delete all data on the hard disk and start

deletes everything currently on the FIVA hard disk.

If you change your mind and want to stop this procedure, type

Typing
here also executes the FDISK command, which creates a

hard disk partition. The partition reserves part of memory for storage of
data when the system goes into the Hibernation Mode. After that, the
partition for the Hibernation Mode is formatted automatically.
