FUSE

BLOWN FUSE
If the fuse blows, running the
engine will not charge the battery.
Before replacing the fuse, check
the current ratings of the electrical
accessories and ensure that there
are no abnormalities.
WARNING
• Never use a fuse with a
different rating from that
specified. Serious damage
to the electrical system or a
fire may result.
• Disconnect the battery
cable at the battery
negative (–) terminal before
replacing the fuse. Failure to
do so may cause a short
circuit.
NOTICE
• If the fuse is blown, check the
cause, then replace the fuse
with a spare fuse of the same
rated capacity. Unless the
cause is found, the fuse may
blow again.
