5. INSTALLATION

NOTICE
• Improperly installed outboard
motor can result in the
outboard motor dropping
into the water, boat not being
able to cruise straight ahead,
engine speed not increasing,
and extreme fuel
consumption.
We recommend that the outboard
motor be installed by an
authorized Honda outboard
motor dealer.
Consult the authorized Honda
dealer in your area for the Y-OP
(User Optional Parts)/equipment
installation and operation.
Applicable Boat
Select a boat suitable for the
engine power.

Power recommendation is
indicated on most of the boats.
WARNING
Do not exceed the boat
manufacturer's power
recommendation. Damage
and injury may result.
