6. PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
BF350A is 4-stroke, water cooled
outboard motor which uses
unleaded regular gasoline for fuel.
It also requires engine oil. Check
the following before operating the
outboard motor.
CAUTION
Perform the following pre-
operation checks with the
engine stopped.
Before each use, look around and
underneath the engine for signs of
oil or gasoline leaks.

1. Pull all the engine cover latches.
2. Remove the engine cover by
lifting it straight up from the
outboard motor.
