POWER TRIM/TILT SWITCH

Power Trim

Press the power trim/tilt switch on
the remote control lever to adjust
the outboard motor trim angle to
maintain proper boat trim. The
power trim/tilt switch can be
operated while the boat is under
way or while stopped.
By using the power trim/tilt switch
the operator can change the trim
angle of the outboard motor to
achieve maximum boat
acceleration, speed, stability and
maintain optimum fuel
consumption.
NOTICE
• Excessive trim/tilt angle
during operation can cause
the propeller to raise out of
the water and cause propeller
ventilation and engine over-
revving. Excessive trim/tilt
angle can also damage the
water pump.
