Configuring the auxiliary functions
SafePos – Approaching a safety position:
The behavior of the actuator depends on the activation of the SAFEPOS auxiliary function.
See Chapter "26.2.11 SAFEPOS – Input the safety position".
SAFEPOS activated:
SAFEPOS deactivated: The actuator moves to the safety end position which it would assume if the elec-

Binary input = 1
Manu/Auto – Switching between the MANUAL and AUTOMATIC operating states:
Binary input = 0 → Operating state AUTOMATIC
→ Operating state MANUAL
Binary input = 1
If the Manu/Auto function was selected in the BINARY.IN menu, it is no longer possible to change
the operating state on the process level using the keys
X.TUNE – Starting the function X.TUNE:

X.CO/P.CO – Switching between position and process controller:
This menu option stands only for Type 8793 and is available when process controller (P.CONTROL) has
been activated.
