OSD Operation

Device Management

The Device Management section allows Super Administrators, and Administrators/Users who have been given permission, to
configure and control the KVM switch. When the Device Management icon is selected, it opens with the Device Information page
displayed.
Note: If you do not have permission to configure the KVM switch, the Device Management icon will not appear when you log onto the KVM.

Device Information

The Device Information page displays general information
about the settings of the KVM switch, and allows you to
configure settings related to the KVM's dual power supplies
and temperature sensors.
The following table describes the contents of the Device Information page.

Description
Device Name
The port name assigned to the KVM switch is displayed here.
MAC1 Address
The B064- Series KVM switch contains two network interfaces. The MAC address of the first network interface
is displayed here. The KVM MAC addresses are also displayed on the bottom panel of the KVM switch.
MAC2 Address
The B064- Series KVM switch contains two network interfaces. The MAC address of the second network
interface is displayed here. The KVM MAC addresses are also displayed on the bottom panel of the KVM
switch.
Firmware Version
The firmware version of the KVM switch is displayed here.
Main FPGA
The Main Field-Programmable-Gate-Array (FPGA) is displayed here.
Console FPGA
The Console Field-Programmable-Gate-Array (FPGA) is displayed here.
Video Driver
The Video Driver version is displayed here.
IP Address1
The IPv4 IP address of the first network interface is displayed here.
Subnet Mask 1
The IPv4 Subnet Mask of the first network interface is displayed here.
Gateway 1
The IPv4 Gateway of the first network interface is displayed here.
Preferred DNS Server 1
The IPv4 Preferred DNS Server of the first network interface is displayed here.
Alternate DNS Server 1
The IPv4 Alternate DNS Server of the second network interface is displayed here.
IPv6 Address 1
The IPv6 IP address of the first network interface is displayed here.
IPv6 Subnet Prefix
The IPv6 Subnet Prefix Length of the first network interface is displayed here.
Length 1
Power Supply
The B064- IPH KVM features dual power supplies. Checking this checkbox will cause the KVM to beep

when receiving power from one source, and a message will appear on the local console screen asking you
to confirm that you are aware of the situation.
Power Supply 1
The icon to the right of this is gray when power supply 1 is not receiving power. It is blue when power
supply 1 is receiving power.
Power Supply 2
The icon to the right of this is gray when power supply 2 is not receiving power. It is blue when power
supply 2 is receiving power.
Fan Warning Message The B064- IPH KVM features temperature sensors that turn the unit's fans on/off at certain temperatures.
Checking this checkbox will cause the KVM to beep when the fans stop, and a message will appear on the
local console screen asking you to confirm that you are aware of the situation.
Note: This notification is prompted whenever a fan stops, and does not necessarily mean that a fan has failed. As fans are programmed
to turn off when the unit drops below a certain temperature, this notification may be prompted due to normal operation.
