Adjusting

To adjust the height of the User-Friendly Anti-Tip, press the two release buttons on the telescoping lower tube and adjust
the height of the lower tube until the wheels are within 4 cm to 5 cm off the ground. See Figure 13-6.

Removing

To remove the User-Friendly Anti-Tip extension tube, press the release buttons on the anti-tip receiver and pull the upper
extension tube out of the anti-tip receiver. See Figure 13-6.

Mounting

Only an authorized Permobil Manual dealer or qualified technician should install the anti-tip receiver.

WARNING
Do NOT disassemble the anti-tip mounting assembly (see Figure 13-7).
Note: Unless you ordered User-Friendly Anti-Tips when you originally ordered your Permobil Manual wheelchair, you will
need to order replacement Allen screws when ordering User-Friendly Anti-Tips.
Tools Needed:
2mm Allen Wrench (for Bumper Assembly Removal)
4mm Allen Wrench
5mm Allen Wrench
1. Remove rear wheels and place the frame on a level surface.
2. Using the 2mm Allen wrench, remove the camber mount bumper assembly.
3. Remove the camber tube. See "Replacing the Camber Tube" in chapter 8.
4. Thread the button-head Allen screw through the right-side camber mount and thread it into the right-side anti-tip
receiver.
Note: Make sure the anti-tip receiver is oriented to be parallel to the floor.
