Software log off

With the appropriate applications, you can logoff, or reboot the Matrox Iris GT
using the XPConfig /Shutdown or /Reboot command-line options, respectively.
For more information on XPConfig command-line options, see Appendix H:
XPConfig command-line options.
To turn off your Matrox Iris GT, you must disconnect its power supply.

Installing and copying files to the hard disk

Matrox Iris GT is not equipped with a DVD or floppy disk drive. Therefore, if
you need to copy files from an external source to Matrox Iris GT, you can do one
of the following:
• Access a shared disk drive on the network.
• Connect a USB drive (DVD, thumb or flash disk) directly to the VGA/USB cable.
Alternatively, you can connect a USB hub to the VGA/USB cable. Then connect
a USB drive (DVD, thumb, or flash disk) to one of the USB hub's ports. Using a
USB hub becomes practical if you have multiple USB devices to connect to your
Matrox Iris GT (for example, a keyboard, mouse, and one or more USB storage
devices).
