Write Filter
The Write Filter utility allows you to safeguard the data stored on C:\ from being
overwritten. When the Write Filter is enabled, all write accesses made to C:\ are
redirected to RAM. While your Matrox Iris GT is turned on, all the changes that
you make to the protected partition will be there. However, since RAM is volatile,
once the smart camera is turned off, all the changes that you have made will be
lost. To save data to C:\, you can do one of the following:
• If you do not have data to save before your smart camera reboots, disable the Write
Filter, wait for your smart camera to reboot, and then save the data to C:\.
• If you have data that you want to save before your smart camera reboots, save the
data to D:\, disable the Write Filter, wait for your smart camera to reboot, and
then transfer the data from D:\ to C:\.
Once your data is saved, remember to re-enable the Write Filter.

EULA tab

The EULA tab allows you access the End User License Agreement for
Microsoft XPe. The EULA appears the first time that you boot the
Matrox Iris GT. Read the EULA and then click on the I agree button to agree
with the EULA.
❖ If you click on the I decline button, the EULA will continue to appear each time
after you reboot the Matrox Iris GT until you click on the I agree button. You
can, however, continue to use Matrox Iris GT if you select the I decline button.
You can click on the Display EULA button to display the End User License
Agreement dialog box.
