Wire terminal
Description
J29/STROBE
Controlled-current output, designed to be connected to a LED
lighting device (0-500 mA, intensity controlled using the
internal version of the pulse-train strobe signal, generated with
a pulse width modulator (PMW) and exposure timer 2).
J30/GND
Ground for the controlled-current output.
Wire terminal
Description
J32/GND
Ground.
J33/GND
Ground.
J34/IN3
Opto-isolated auxiliary signal 3 (input).
J35/IN2
Opto-isolated auxiliary signal 2 (input).

Input connector

The input connector is a series of 8 wire terminals. They connect to your
third-party devices so that the devices can send auxiliary and trigger signals to your
Matrox Iris GT.
Each input signal should have only one input source. For example, when an input
signal comes from a connected third-party device, it should always be the only
source of input for that signal, and not have to compete with the signal from a
re-routed output signal or a push button.
For information on using the input connector, refer to the Routing input signals
to Matrox Iris GT section, earlier in this appendix.
