Powering and connecting to your Matrox
Iris GT
The Matrox Iris GT has the following interfaces:
• Digital I/O and power connector. Used to receive power from an external power
source. The connector can also send/receive RS-232 (input/output), trigger
(input), strobe (output), controlled-current output, and general user-defined I/O
signals to/from third-party I/O devices.
• 100/1000 BaseT connector. Provides connectivity between your Matrox Iris GT
and your computer or your network. Matrox Iris GT can gain access to a LAN
via Gbit Ethernet (GigE, 1G BaseT or 1000 BaseT), fast Ethernet (100 BaseT),
or twisted pair Ethernet (10 BaseT).
• VGA/USB connector. Provides connectivity between your Matrox Iris GT and a
display device and/or USB device (such as a keyboard or a mouse).
