5. Remove the 2 bolts and the inspection door.
6. Loosen the tension nut (A) until there is no tension in
the caterpillar track.
7. Push the front tension wheel rearward (B).

8. Remove the caterpillar track from the front tension
wheel (C).
9. Remove the caterpillar track from the rear tension
wheel (D).
10. Install the caterpillar tracks in the opposite
sequence. Make sure that you install the caterpillar
tracks in the correct direction (E). The V-shape in the
pattern on the caterpillar track must point to the front
tension wheel.

11. Adjust the tension in the caterpillar tracks. Refer
to

(DXR 95) on page 119 .
Hydraulic caterpillar track tension (DXR
145, DXR 275, DXR 305, DXR 315)
Correct track tension is important for the servicing life of
the caterpillar tracks.
If demolition material goes into the caterpillar tracks
during operation, a spring function in the caterpillar
tracks prevents operation stop. The spring function
has a hydraulic accumulator. If the spring function of
the caterpillar tracks does not operate, the hydraulic
accumulator can be defective.
