USE AND OPERATION

INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS FOR USE AND OPERATION

NOTE:
Carefully read the hazards
mentioned in section "Hazards and safety
provisions during use" on page 8.
ATTENTION: Besides being autho-
rised and appropriately documented, and
if necessary, instructed and trained, on fi rst
usage, users shall simulate several opera-
tions to identify the controls and main func-
tions.
WARNING: Use only as intended by
the manufacturer and never tamper with
any device to obtain performance levels
outside the rated specifi cations.
ATTENTION: Before use, check that
the safety devices are properly installed and
in good working order.
ATTENTION: As well as taking care
to meet these requirements, users should
also implement all safety regulations and
read the description of the controls and the
start-up procedure carefully.
WARNING: The fl oor near the appli-
ance could be slippery.
IMPORTANT: At the end of each
cooking cycle, after emptying the tank, be
sure to turn off the control knob to "0".
IMPORTANT: Before fi lling the tank,
make sure the drain lever is on "CLOSED".
IMPORTANT: Empty the well com-
pletely after use.

USE AND OPERATION
WARNING: Never use the appliance
with no water in the well, as this may dam-
age its structure.
ATTENTION: Remove and empty the
drip tray gradually to prevent scalding due
to the high temperature of fats.
WARNING: Do not remove the pro-
tections preventing the accidental contact
with high temperature surfaces and ensur-
ing the correct combustion of gas applianc-
es.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the fol-
lowing rules should be adopted.
– Use only the accessories recommended by
the Manufacturer.
– Always keep the appliance and the surround-
ing areas clean.
– When cleaning, use only food-approved de-
tergents.
– Keep the water at boiling temperature and
ensure correct starch overfl ow drain.
– Check that the water level never drops below
the minimum level marked.
– Fill the baskets with the right quantity of
pasta taking into account the type of pasta
and the expected increase in volume during
cooking
IMPORTANT: The constant presence
of the operator is required during routine
use of the appliance.
