To Prepare for Use

4.3.1

To Connect to Power

The power requirements of this signal source are USB PD 15 V, 3 A. Please use the
power adaptor provided in the accessories to connect the instrument to the AC
power source (100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz to 60 Hz), as shown in the figure below. Apart
from the instrument's standard power adaptor, this instrument also supports the
power adaptor that conforms to the PD (Power Delivery) protocol. However, the
adaptor should support 15 V 3 A 45 W output.
After the power is connected, the backlight of the front-panel power key can have the
following three states:
Breathing Red: indicates that the instrument is connected to a compliant power
adaptor and is in standby state. At this time, you can press the power key to
power on the instrument.
Solid Yellow: indicates that the instrument does not detect a compliant power
adaptor and cannot be powered on.
Solid Green: indicates that the instrument is running normally.
