Turning on compressed-air
1. Open the compressed-air main supply to the probe gas
sampling system on valve V8 below the connection panel of
the retractor.
2. Open the compressed-air pneumatic control supply to the
retractor on valve V6 at the rear panel of the retractor.
3. Open the compressed-air supply to the blaster panel on valve
V5 located behind the protection cover of the blaster panel.
4. Make sure no leakage occurs anywhere and close the covers.
Activation of the probe gas sampling
system
Requirements
The connected gas analyser system must be switched on.
Observe the warm-up time of the gas analyser system
according to manufacturer specifications.
The mechanical locking bar of the shutter (Figure 46, Pos.
1
) must be removed before inserting the gas sampling
probe for the first time.
The system must not have any visible damage (see also
Environmental conditions on page 38
The customer-side central compressed-air supply is switched
on.
Tools required: Control cabinet key to open the control
cabinet.
