Cleaning the Fan Filters
6. Reinstall the fan filter on the right-side cover:

a. Place the filter in the filter bracket and position the filter bracket and filter on the
right-side cover.
b. Install and tighten the four screws that hold the filter bracket to the right-side cover.
c. On the TSQ Vantage, position the blue appliqué on the right-side cover.
d. Install and tighten the six screws that hold the appliqué to the right-side cover.
a. Place the filter in the filter bracket and position the filter bracket and filter on the rear of
the front cover.
b. Install and tighten the four screws that hold the filter bracket to the front cover.
c. Reinstall the front cover of the TSQ mass spectrometer.
i. Position the front cover about 6 in. (15 cm) from the TSQ mass spectrometer.
ii. Reconnect the grounding wire to the space connector.
iii. Reconnect the Front Panel PCB cable to the TSQ mass spectrometer by inserting the
cable into the connector. Push the connector retainer down to secure the cable.
iv. Align the front cover with the two guide pins on the TSQ mass spectrometer.
v. Push the front cover against the TSQ mass spectrometer until the two spring catches
lock.
vi. Reconnect all tubing to the divert/inject valve and the syringe pump.
