Cleaning the S-Lens and Exit Lens (TSQ Vantage)

To clean the S-lens and exit lens
Note Wear clean gloves when you handle the S-lens and exit lens.
CAUTION Do not clean the S-lens or exit lens with detergents, acidic or caustic substances, or
abrasives.
1. Sonicate the exit lens and S-lens separately for 15 minutes in 50:50 HPLC-grade
methanol/water.
2. Rinse the exit lens and S-lens with fresh methanol.
3. Air dry the exit lens and S-lens or blow dry them with nitrogen gas. Ensure that all solvent has
evaporated from the components before reassembly.
