This section covers the following tasks:
How to start the 900M for the first time user, connected to an AES/AOS or AE/AO
actuator or other device.
How to start the 900M for the first time user, connected to a 94A0 actuator, custom
actuator or device.
How to run the 900M self-diagnostics/initialization routine.
How to start the 900M for more experienced users.
How to start and perform a weld cycle for the first time user (using factory default
settings).
How to start and perform weld cycles using modes.
4.5.1 Starting a 900M and AES/AOS or AE/AO Actuator for a First Time User
Familiarize yourself with the components of your system. Read the manuals that were
shipped with the equipment and make sure that all connections have been made
correctly. Follow the instructions in your actuator manual to set up the actuator. This
includes installing the stack, aligning the horn, and adjusting the mechanical stop.
Turn on the power to your equipment in the following order:

all peripherals attached to it.

If you are using an AES/AOS actuator, turn it on.
4.
Turn on the 900M.
