3.10 DIP Switch Si
DIP
switch S1 is used for setting the Display Lock feature, selecting the power level, and
for changing weld mode. The switch is "rocker" type and is located on the second board
from the Front Panel, directly behind the Fast UP / DOWN
switch. The switch can be
accessed through the vents beneath the left front of the 900M (Figure 3-23).

3.10.1Setting DIP Switch S1

Warning:
Be sure the 900M is unplugged before setting the
DIP switch.
Set the
DIP
switch as follows:
1. Position the 900M so that you can see the
DIP
switch (for example, place the 900M on
its side).
2. Adjust the
DIP
switch with an insulated probe. Figure 3-24 shows switch position
settings.
3. Return the 900M to its operating position and plug in the power cord.
When the 900M is in
READY
state, the
VF
display indicates the current operating mode.
