3.7 Installing the SIM card

The Teldat M2 is equipped with a Wireless WAN interface that may require one or two SIM cards for operation.
The Teldat M2 has two protected SIM trays located on its side panel, as illustrated in the figure below:

To access the internal SIM trays, follow these steps:
(1) Locate the card slot cover on the front of the device and use a TORX T8 screwdriver to loosen the screw. Take
off the card slot cover.
(2) Press to insert the SIM card into the desired tray or remove it from there.
SIM1: Upper SIM tray, SIM2: Lower SIM tray
(3) Place the card slot cover back in its original position and tighten the screw.
Warning
Never install the SIM cards while the device is powered on.
Prior to inserting the SIM cards, always disconnect the device from the main power supply.
Additionally, make sure to disconnect the device before removing the protective casing to access the
trays.
When inserting the SIM cards, please take precautions to guard against electrostatic discharges (ESD).
Do not touch the SIM card connectors.
