Chapter 1 Description 1.1 Introduction The Teldat G1N routers family is composed of a range of IP routers for general purposes with a wide application area: personal environments, SOHO/SME and corporative. The Teldat G1N is an additional member of this family.

In order to achieve optimum features, the installed radio frequency accessories (antenna and cables) should be those recommended by Teldat. Teldat has a series of accessories (90º mount antennas, exterior antennas, ceiling antennas, extension cables, etc.) enabling the Teldat G1N routers to be installed in different locations.
2.1.5 Connecting for configuration The Teldat G1N routers have a RJ45 female connector on the front panel referred to as “ Conf.” which provides ac- cess to the device local console. In order to configure this, you must connect the “ Conf.” port to an asynchronous ter- minal (or to a PC with terminal emulation).
Fig. 7: 2.2 Installing the SIM card The Teldat G1N routers have a Wireless WAN interface that, in order to operate, may require at least one SIM card that must be inserted into the device. The Teldat G1N routers have two SIM trays. One is accessible from the outside and the other is located inside the device.

Teldat S.A. Chapter 4 Microswitches The Teldat G1N router has a block of 8 microswitches available that are used for maintenance and test tasks. In this case, they are only used to load the default configuration. This block of microswitches can be found on the underside of the Teldat G1N routers.

B.1 Recycling and the Environment Please do not, under any circumstances, throw away any Teldat G1N with normal domestic waste.
