To power up the router, connect the power supply to both the mains supply and the DC connector.

3.5 RST button

Here are the different functions of the RST button:

3.5.1 Rebooting the device

Pressing the RST button while the device is operating normally will initiate a restart.

3.5.2 Default configuration

Follow these steps to use the RST button and restore the device to its default configuration:
• With the device powered off, press and hold the RESET button until the device powers on.
• The PWR (green) light will illuminate and the WLAN LED will start blinking in yellow. This blinking will continue for
10 seconds.
• To boot the device with the default configuration, release the Reset button while the WLAN LED is still blinking
(before the 10-second limit elapses).
After the default configuration is established, the router will have the following access IP address and mask:
• IP address: 192.168.1.1
• IP mask: 255.255.255.0
Note
Some devices may have customized settings when they leave the factory, so the default configuration
of your router (and that of the embedded access point, if applicable) may differ from what is shown
above.
